Haldi
Haldi is a traditional Indian pre-wedding ceremony where a turmeric (haldi) paste is applied to the bride and groom by family and friends. The paste, often mixed with sandalwood, rose water, or oil, is believed to purify the skin, bring a natural glow, and ward off evil spirits. It’s also a joyful ritual filled with music, laughter, and blessings, symbolizing a fresh start before the wedding.
